Dotty Brown, author of "Boathouse Row, Waves of Change in the Birthplace of American Rowing", will share the unknown stories of Boathouse Row that she unearthed in 19th century minute books, historic newspaper accounts and through contemporary interviews, along with a slide show of historic photographs and paintings. Light refreshments will be served.

Copies of the book will be available for $30 (regular $35), cash or check payable to Temple University Press.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dotty spent her career in journalism, working as a reporter and editor at the Philadelphia Inquirer, during which time she edited a Pulitzer Prize-winning series. She is a graduate of Wellesley College, a Fulbright fellow, and holds an MS from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.  She is also a rower and a member of the Vesper Boat Club on Boathouse Row.
